Jese suffers cruciate ligament damage

Real Madrid youngster Jese could be sidelined until next season after it was confirmed he had suffered a serious knee injury in Tuesday's Champions League win against Schalke.

The highly-rated forward was carried off on a stretcher just minutes into the match at the Bernabeu and, after undergoing tests at hospital, Madrid announced the 21-year-old had torn his anterior cruciate ligament.

After the exploration and scans taken at the Hospital Sanitas La Moraleja, our player Jese Rodriguez has been diagnosed with complete tear of the anterior cruciate ligament of the right knee.
