COMPETITION INFORMATION

Competition entry question:
Please answer the question as stated in Alan Titchmarsh (the “programme”) and follow the instructions given. Eligible entries will be entered into a draw to win a prize.
Opening/closing date & time:
· Competition opens for entries via PRTS, SMS and online as stated in programme.
· Competition closes for entries via PRTS and SMS at 10 a.m. as stated in programme. Entries made after the closing time will not be entered into the competition but may still be charged.
· Entry via the www.itv.com website is open for at least three (3) working days after the programme.
Competition draw date: within one week of the closing date for all entries.
Method & cost of entry:
· PRTS Phone - call 09012 93 03 03 and follow instructions; up to 5 entries per phone number. Each call costs £1.00 from BT landlines. Calls from other networks may be higher and from mobiles will be considerably more.
· SMS text – send a SMS text to 63360 with A, B or C to indicate your answer to the question; up to 5 entries per phone number. Each text costs £1.00 plus one standard network rate message.
· Online – go to www.itv.com and follow the instructions; up to 5 entries per phone number. There is no charge for online entries.
There is no entry via red button, email or post to this competition. Entries on behalf of another person are void. Entries over the maximum number of entries for each method of entry, or entries made or received by the Promoter after the closing date and time, or entries which are incomplete, misspelt, inaudible, incomprehensible, or not received are void and will not be entered into the competition but may still be charged.
Prize:
The first correct entry drawn at random from all eligible entries will be the winner of the prize. The prize is £2,000 (two thousand pounds sterling) payable by cheque in the name of the entrant only, along with a three-night trip for the winner and a companion to the Feversham Arms Hotel & Verbena Spa in North Yorkshire.The prize includes accommodation based on two people sharing a room, access for a day in the Verbena Spa for two people, selected spa treatments, breakfast and dinner. The prize is subject to the terms and conditions of the prize provider. It is the responsibility of the winner to ensure they, and where applicable their companion, are available to take up the prize as specified during the relevant dates. The prize must be taken up no later than 30 June 2010 subject to availability and restrictions including but not limited to inclement weather conditions, blackout dates during the festive season, public holidays and school holidays. The winner must follow instructions given by the Promoter and/or prize provider to take up the prize. All elements of the prize must be booked and taken up during one period, and not on non-consecutive dates. It is the responsibility of the winner to ensure that they and their companion adhere to the itinerary and to instructions including safety instructions as set out by the prize provider. The Promoter reserves the right to amend any element of the prize for reasons beyond their reasonable control. The prize is non-changeable, non-transferable and non-upgradeable. There is no cash equivalent or alternative prize. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any costs, liabilities, damages or losses or for any medical conditions aggravated or incurred by the winner and/or their companion in taking up the prize. For the avoidance of doubt, the prize excludes all other costs including but not limited to any additional accommodation, transportation costs to and from the hotel, any travel expenses, parking costs, hotel supplementary charges, any spa treatments not included in the prize, telephone calls, room service, mini-bar goods, souvenirs, incidental costs, taxes and any insurance. Other restrictions may apply. The winner and their companion must be aged 18 years or over, and may be required to confirm proof of age and eligibility. The Promoter endeavours to deliver the prize within 28 days of winner confirmation, where applicable, i.e. the date that the Promoter has managed to contact the winner and received confirmation of eligibility. The winner may be required to participate in publicity. The Promoter will only pass an entrant’s data to third parties for marketing purposes if that entrant has asked to receive marketing information from those third parties.
The winner will be contacted as soon as practicable on or after the competition draw date on the phone number they provided when entering the competition. The Promoter will not amend contact information provided once entry to the competition has been made. Reasonable efforts will be made to contact a winner. If they cannot be contacted or fail to provide an address for delivery or fail to meet the eligibility requirements as set out in the general competition terms and conditions, and elsewhere as applicable, or are otherwise unable to comply with these terms this may result in forfeiture of the prize and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next correct entry drawn at random from all eligible entries.
