ALL STAR FAMILY FORTUNES COMPETITION
Competition entry question:
Eligible entrants are required to follow the instructions given and to answer the question correctly as stated in the “Family Fortunes” programme on ITV1 and/or ITV2 (the “programme”). Eligible entries will be entered into a draw to win a prize.
Opening/closing date and time:
· Competition opens for entries made via PRTS, SMS, red button and online as stated in the programme.
· Competition closes for entries made via PRTS, SMS and red button at 6.30 p.m. on Sunday 1 November 2009. Entries made after the stated closing time will not be entered into the competition but may still be charged.
· Competition closes for entries made online via the www.itv.com website no less than 3 working days after the programme.
Draw date: within one week of the closing date and time for all entries.
Method & cost of entry:
· PRTS phone - call 09012 934 500 and follow instructions; up to 5 entries per phone number. Each call costs £1.00 from BT landlines. Calls from other networks may be higher and from mobiles will be considerably more.
· SMS – send SMS text to 88550 with A, B or C to indicate your answer to the question; up to 5 entries per phone number. Each text costs £1.00 plus one standard network rate message.
· Red Button – Sky and Virgin Media viewers may press the red button on their remote control; up to 5 entries per phone number. Each red button entry costs £1.00.
· Online – go towww.itv.com and follow instructions; up to 5 entries per phone number. There is no charge for online entries.
There is no entry via email or post to this competition. Entries on behalf of another person are void. Entries over the maximum number of entries for each method of entry, or entries made or received by the Promoter after the closing date and time, or entries which are incomplete, misspelt, inaudible, incomprehensible, or not received are void and will not be entered into the competition but may still be charged.
Prize:
The first correct entry drawn at random from all eligible entries will be the winner of the prize, subject to eligibility. The prize is £5,000 (five thousand pounds sterling) payable by cheque in the name of the entrant only. The prize also includes a Nintendo Wii, an iPod Touch and an annual family Merlin Pass (the “pass”) for the winner valid for 12 months from date of purchase.The pass is for four or five individuals of which one will be the winner. For a pass for four at least two of the individuals must be under 12. For a pass for five at least three of the individuals must be under 12.Issue of the pass is subject to date restrictions in particular the collection timetable for the pass is to be as arranged with the winner on prize confirmation and collection of the pass will be from one of the Merlin attractions and will be subject to date restrictions based on Merlin attractions seasonal closure dates. The pass can only be used at Merlin attractions in the UK and is subject to additional terms and conditions and restrictions including but not limited to any attraction operating calendars, exclusions and restrictions and the Merlin annual pass terms and conditions which can be found at http://www.merlinannualpass.co.uk/. These terms and conditions are subject to change at the discretion of Merlin theme parks.
The prize contents may vary from that shown on the programme. It is the responsibility of the winner to follow instructions provided by the prize provider to take up the prize. There is no alternative prize or cash equivalent. The Promoter is not liable for any costs, liabilities, damages or losses incurred by the winner. The Promoter reserves the right to vary any element of the prize due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control. The Promoter will not be liable to reimburse the cost of entry to this competition or any other expenses incurred. For the avoidance of doubt, the prize excludes associated costs, expenses, charges or taxes incurred by a winner which are not included in the prize including but not limited to mis-delivery costs, transportation, storage fees, accessories, supplementary products and services. The prize is non-changeable and non-transferable.The Promoter endeavours to deliver the prize within 28 days of winner confirmation. All elements of the prize may be delivered separately. The winner must be a UK resident aged 18 years or over at the time of entering the competition, and may be required to confirm proof of age and eligibility. The winner may be required to participate in publicity for the Promoter and/or prize provider. The Promoter will only pass an entrant’s data to third parties for marketing purposes if that entrant has asked to receive marketing information from those third parties.
The winner will be contacted as soon as practicable on or after the competition draw date on the phone number they provided when entering the competition. The Promoter will not amend contact information provided once entry to the competition has been made. Reasonable efforts will be made to contact a winner. If they cannot be contacted or fail to provide an address for delivery or fail to meet the eligibility requirements as set out in the general competition terms and conditions, and elsewhere as applicable, or are otherwise unable to comply with these terms this may result in forfeiture of the prize and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next correct entry drawn at random from all eligible entries and thereafter until a winner is found.
