DAYBREAK/LORRAINE CENTER PARCS COMPETITION: INTERACTION INFORMATION
Opening/closing date & time:
· Competition opens for entries via PRTS, SMS and online as stated on the Daybreak show (the “programme”).
· Competition closes for entries via PRTS and SMS at midday on 17 February 2012.
· Competition closes for entries online via the www.itv.com/daybreak website no less than 3 working days after the programme.
Competition draw date:
Within no more than 24 hours of the closing date and time for all entries.
Winner selection:
The first three (3) correct entries drawn at random from all eligible entries will each be the winner of the prize, subject to eligibility and compliance with all applicable terms and conditions.
Method & cost of entry:
· PRTS Phone - call 09049596000 and follow instructions; up to 6 entries per phone number. Entrants who enter twice from the same phone number will be invited to stay on the line on their second call to enter the competition a third time without additional charge. This can be repeated twice to reach the 6 entries per phone number limit. The entrant’s third entry must be made on the second call from that phone number. Each call costs no more than £1.03 from BT landlines. Other networks may be higher and from mobiles considerably more.
· SMS text – send a SMS text to 64499 with A, B or C to indicate your answer to the question; up to 6 entries per phone number. SMS entrants will receive a SMS reply message acknowledging their SMS entry and inviting them to enter the competition via SMS a second time using the same mobile number to receive an additional entry into the competition without charge. Entrants who then send a second SMS text with their answer to 64499 by the competition closing date and time will be entered into the draw three (3) times for a chance to win the prize. This can be repeated twice to reach the 6 entries limit. Each of the SMS entrant’s first two (2) SMS text entries costs £1.00 plus one standard network rate message.
· Online – go to www.itv.com/daybreak and follow instructions; up to 6 entries per phone number.
Prize:
The prize is:
(a) Cash
A cheque for £5,000 (five thousand pounds) payable in the name of the winner only.
(b) Holiday
A trip for the winner and seven (7) companions to the winner’s choice of Center Parcs resort in the United Kingdom for a choice of either three (3) or four (4) consecutive nights, to include:
· A choice of resort, from:
o Whinfell Forest – Penrith, Cumbria;
o Sherwood Forest – Rufford, Newark;
o Elveden Forest – Brandon, Suffolk; or
o Longleat Forest – Warminster, Wiltshire;
· In the event that the winner chooses to stay at either Sherwood Forest or Longleat Forest, the winner will be given the choice of the Treehouse accommodation. In the event that the winner chooses to stay at a resort which does not have Treehouse accommodation, the winner will be provided with the best available accommodation and no refund for the difference in cost between the best available accommodation at those resorts and the Treehouse accommodation will be provided;
· Self-catering accommodation on a room only basis for either three (3) consecutive nights if the winner chooses to take the trip over a weekend (Friday – Monday) or four (4) consecutive nights if the winner chooses to take the trip during the week (Monday - Friday); and
· £2,000 (two thousand pounds sterling) worth of Center Parcs vouchers (the “vouchers”) for the winner to spend during their stay (or during future stays at Center Parcs), subject to the terms and conditions of the Prize Provider, including (but not limited to):
o Vouchers can only be used at one of the four UK Center Parcs locations (as set out above);
o Vouchers are valid for four (4) years from issue;
o Vouchers are provided in denominations £5, £10, £20, £50 and £100. No change will be given where payment is made in vouchers. The winner will be able to choose the configuration of vouchers to be provided by the Prize Provider;
o Center Parcs vouchers can be redeemed when at Center Parcs against accommodation, retail, activities, restaurants, Aqua Sana Treatments and spa sessions.
Please note that the lead booker on the booking made with the Prize Provider must be at least 21 years of age. In the event that the winner is aged under 21 the winner will be required to take up the trip with a companion who is aged 21 or over and who must then be named by the winner as the lead booker on the booking made with the Prize Provider.
The holiday must be booked and taken up by 13 August 2013 and is subject to availability. The winner may not take up the prize during the following blackout dates:
o 21 December 2012 to 4 January 2013 inclusive; and
o on any other dates as may be advised by the Prize Provider.
It is the responsibility of the winner to ensure that the travelling party is adequately insured including without limitation covering medical costs, and to ensure that the travelling party adheres to the travel itinerary and other relevant safety instructions as set out by the Prize Provider. It is the responsibility of the winner to inform the Prize Provider of any wheelchair or other access requirements for the winner and/or their companions when taking up the prize, and to adhere to any applicable health and safety guidelines.
The prize excludes ground transfers in the UK, any additional travel, accommodation, excursions attractions, meals and drinks not included in the prize, parking costs, hotel charges, room service, telephone costs, internet access costs, souvenirs, treatments, car hire, travel insurance, spending money, personal expenses, passports, visas, taxes and, where relevant, any additional expenses and costs which may be incurred.
