PROGRAMME RECRUITMENT TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Contacting the programme:
Anyone interested in participating in an upcoming TV programme (the ‘programme’) may contact ITV and/or the producers of the programme for information about the programme.
Please note that to participate in the programme you must own a home in Cyprus, Algarve or Costa del Sol, be aged 18 years old or over and meet any additional eligibility requirements as set out by ITV and/or the programme producers.
You may contact the programme producers by sending an email to the email address specified in the promotion, if applicable, and/or online. You may be contacted and will be required to provide information, including but not limited to, your name and daytime contact number.
The closing time for contacting ITV and/or the programme producers is 6pm on Friday 16 October 2009. You accept that the dates, schedules and availability of this service may change without notice for reasons beyond the reasonable control of ITV and/or the programme producers.
You are required to provide complete, valid, correct and up-to-date information when contacting the programme. There is no restriction on the number of times you may contact the programme unless otherwise stated. There is no charge when contacting the programme via email, although internet service provider’s fees may apply.
Contacting the programme producers after the closing date and time, or information which is incomprehensible, misleading, incomplete, incorrectly addressed, lost in transit, or not received will be invalidated and will not be considered. The producers of the programme reserve the right in their sole discretion to invalidate any information you provide, and cannot accept responsibility for any information which is not received by the closing date and time.
Any information and data which is provided by you when you contact the programme will be held and used by ITV and/or the programme producers in order to administer your interest in participating in the programme. For ITV’s privacy policy, see www.itv.com/Privacypolicy.
By contacting ITV and/or the programme producers, you signify your acceptance of these terms and conditions as well as other terms and conditions as may be provided by the programme producers. You may not be considered for participation in the programme if you fail to adhere to such terms and conditions.
2. Participation:
ITV and/or the programme producers reserve the right to contact you on the phone number or email address you provide to confirm eligibility and where relevant to provide you with additional information. You may be required to provide proof of age and eligibility. Failure to provide valid and current proof of age and/or eligibility may result in you no longer being considered for participation in the programme.
Whilst ITV and/or the producers make reasonable endeavours to contact you ITV does not guarantee that all persons who have contacted ITV and/or the programme producers will be contacted. ITV does not represent, undertake or warrant that it will broadcast any future episode of the programme which may or may not include your participation.
If you are not eligible, or cannot be contacted or do not comply with any of these terms and conditions, then you will no longer be considered or permitted to participate further in the programme.
For the avoidance of doubt ITV and the producers of the programme are not liable to refund the cost of any calls made or internet access fees incurred in contacting the programme.
3. General rules:
ITV and the producers of the programme do not accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or any other problem with any telephone network or line, system, server, software provider or otherwise which may result in any emails, online forms, or phone calls not being properly received or recorded.
ITV cannot promise that the system and/or service will be free from errors or omissions nor that it will be available uninterrupted and in a fully operating condition. The system and/or service may be suspended temporarily and without notice in the case of system failure, maintenance or repair or for reasons beyond the reasonable control of ITV. ITV will not be liable to you or to any other person in the event that all or any part of the system and/or service is discontinued, modified or changed in any way.
Nothing in these terms and conditions restricts your statutory rights as a consumer. For more details on your statutory rights you should contact your local Trading Standards Office or Citizen's Advice Bureau.
These terms and conditions shall be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales and the entrant irrevocably submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. .
4. Queries/complaints:
If you have a query or complaint about the email service, you may register it with ITV Viewer Services who can be contacted by phone on 0844 88 14150, or by email at viewerservices@itv.com. You will need to give the following information:
a) Your Name
b) Your email address
c) The IP number of your computer and your internet service provider, where relevant
d) The date(s) and time(s) when you experienced problems
e) The nature of the problem you have been experiencing
f) A contact telephone number you can be reached on if necessary
