LITTLE ENGLAND COMPETITION: COMPETITION INFORMATION
Opening/closing date & time:
· Competition opens for entries via PRTS, SMS, red button and online as stated in the Little England (the “programme”).
· Competition closes for entries via PRTS, SMS, red button and online at 10.00 a.m. as stated in the programme.
Competition draw date:
Within no more than one week of the closing date and time for all entries.
Method & cost of entry:
· PRTS Phone - call 090 49 59 67 89; up to 6 entries per phone number. Entrants who enter twice from the same phone number will be invited to stay on the line on their second call to enter the competition a third time without additional charge. This can be repeated twice to reach the 6 entries per phone number limit. The entrant’s third entry must be made on the second call from that phone number. Each call costs no more than £1.03 from BT landlines. Other networks may be higher and from mobiles considerably more.
· SMS – send text to 60330with your answer. SMS entrants will receive a SMS reply message acknowledging their SMS entry and inviting them to enter the competition via SMS a second time using the same mobile number to receive an additional entry into the competition without charge. Entrants who then send a second SMS text with their answer to 60330 by the competition closing date and time will be entered into the draw three (3) times for a chance to win the prize. This can be repeated twice to reach the 6 entries limit. Each of the SMS entrant’s first two (2) SMS text entries costs £1.00 plus one standard network rate message.
· Red button – Virgin Media and Sky digital satellite viewers press the red button on their remote control; up to 6 entries per phone number. Each red button entry costs £1.03.
· Online – go to www.itv.com and follow the instructions; up to 6 entries per phone number. There is no charge for online entries but internet service provider’s fees may apply when accessing the internet.
Prize:
The prize includes:
Cash
· £2,000 (two thousand pounds sterling) payable by cheque in the name of the winner only.
Holiday
· A trip for one (1) winner and three (3) adult companions to Paris, France for seven (7) nights (the “trip”). The trip includes the following:
- Four (4) economy class return flights departing from an airport in London and arriving in an airport in Paris (subject to availability);
· Seven (7) nights’ accommodation in an apartment in Paris on self catering basis based on the winner and their companion sharing two (2) bedrooms;
· Admission for the winner and their companions to the Eiffel Tower on one (1) day of the trip plus one (1) glass of champagne each at the Eiffel Tower Champagne Bar for the winner and their companions;
· A guided excursion to visit a number of chocolatiers in Paris; and
· Travel insurance cover for the winner and their companions (subject to the terms and conditions of the insurance provider).Travel insurance terms exclude pre-existing medical conditions and insurance is subject to standard policy excesses and an upper age limit of 74 years.
Passports must be valid for travel with a minimum of six (6) months on the date of departure from the UK when taking up the trip. The winner and their companions are responsible for obtaining any other necessary travel documentation, authorization and visas.
The trip is subject to availability and must be booked and taken up within 12 months of winner confirmation, excluding dates around Christmas and New Year between 19 December 2011 and 3 January 2012 inclusive, any public holidays in the UK and any additional dates as may be specified by the prize provider when the holiday is not available. It is the responsibility of the winner to liaise with the prize provider when booking the trip and to inform the prize provider of the dates they wish to take up the trip at least 28 days before the date they wish to depart from the UK. It is the responsibility of the winner to inform the prize providers of any wheelchair or similar access requirements for the winner and/or their companion when taking up the prize, and to adhere to any applicable health and safety guidelines.
The prize excludes ground transfers, meals, all drinks not included in the prize, additional excursions, attractions, treatments, car hire, personal expenses, visas and vaccinations. Costs and expenses not included in the prize may incur additional charges which are payable by the winner, and/or where applicable, their companions. Neither the Promoter nor the provider of the prize will be held liable where such charges are incurred, and no refund or reimbursement will be made. The Promoter and the prize provider will accept no responsibility where the winner and/or their companions are unable to pay in full, any such charges as incurred.
