Loose Women: Get Your Holiday Head On Competition
 
Opening/closing date & time:
The competition opens as stated in the programme, “Loose Women” (the ‘programme’), and closes at 6.00 p.m. on Tuesday 4 August 2009. Entries made after the closing date and time will not be entered into the competition.
 
Eligibility:
To be eligible to enter this competition you must be a UK resident aged 18 or over and meet any additional eligibility requirements as set out by the Promoter, the programme producers and/or as set out in the general competition terms and conditions and elsewhere as applicable. Employees and members of their immediate families (including any live-in partner) of companies within the ITV group of companies and any of their subsidiaries and/or agencies associated with the programme and/or this competition are ineligible to enter this competition. Any such entries will be invalid. Proof of age and eligibility may be required.
 
By entering this competition, you grant the Promoter a worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free and transferable licence (with the right to sub-license) to use, edit, reproduce, record, modify, translate, distribute, play, perform, make available, prepare derivative works of and display your entry by any medium or method, including without limitation to broadcast on the programme and/or publication on the website at www.itv.com to be exercised in Promoter’s sole discretion. Entrants also agree to waive any moral rights in their entry.
 
It is the responsibility of the entrant to ensure that the information provided is complete, comprehensible, correct, up-to-date and submitted ahead of the closing date and time as stated in the programme. Providing information which is incomplete,incomprehensible, false or not received by the competition closing date and time will mean that the entry is invalid and will not be considered. If we suspect that an entrant is not eligible to enter this competition, entry made by that entrant will be deemed invalid and will not be considered.
 
Method of entry:
Viewers may download a life-sized photograph of any of the presenters of the programme from the website at www.itv.com, make them into face masks and take them on holiday with them. They may enter the competition by sending in a photograph of themselves whilst on holiday wearing the face-mask. Entrants may send in their entries, including their full name, email address and daytime telephone number, by email to loose.women@itv.com.
 
The Promoter, the producers of the programme and their sub-contractors bear no responsibility for any entry which is incorrectly addressed, lost in transit or damaged in any way. Where an entry fails to meet the eligibility criteria or otherwise fails to meet these terms and conditions, this will result in disqualification from the competition.
 
There is no entry via post, phone, SMS or red button to this competition. Entries on behalf of another person are void. Entries made or received after the closing date and time, or entries which are incomplete, incomprehensible, or not received are void and will not be entered into the competition.
 
Cost of entry:
There is no charge for entries via email but internet service provider charges may apply.
 
Competition draw date: Wednesday 5 August 2009.
 
Entries:
All entries are considered as “Submissions” (as defined under the Terms of Use at www.itv.com/terms) and are subject to such Terms of Use. Each entrant warrants that they will not submit an entry which in any way infringes the copyright or other rights of a third party, or which infringes any applicable laws and that the information they provide is accurate and up to date.
 
The Promoter will not acknowledge receipt of any entries sent in.
 
The Promoter may accept your entry, or may refuse to consider it in its sole and absolute discretion. Entries must not contain any material which is in any way defamatory, obscene, unlawful, harmful, offensive or inappropriate or infringes the rights of a third party or may have the effect of being harassing, threatening, abusive or hateful or that otherwise degrades or intimidates an individual or group of individuals on the basis of religion, gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, age or disability. Entries must not contain advertising or promotion of third parties' or entrant’s goods or services. Any entry which is deemed inappropriate will be deemed void and will not be considered.
 
The Promoter cannot promise that the email service and/or system will be free from errors or omissions, nor that it will be available uninterrupted and in a fully operating condition.
 
Nothing in these terms and conditions restricts your statutory rights as a consumer. For more details on your statutory rights you should contact your local Trading Standards Office or Citizen's Advice Bureau.
 
Selection process:
The programme production team will in their sole discretion review and select a winner based on criteria including without limitation, the most humorous or the most imaginative. The decision of the programme production team will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
 
The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion, but does not guarantee, to broadcast or otherwise publish an entrant’s submission in any other media or otherwise exploit it in any manner. The Promoter further reserves the right to contact any entrant to this competition for participation in a future episode of the programme.
 
The Promoter does not guarantee that all entries will be considered despite being received. The Promoter does not represent, undertake or warrant that it will contact all entrants or broadcast, or otherwise exploit in any manner, any future episode of the programme which may or may not include an entrant’s submission.
 
Prize:
The first entry which is deemed to most closely meet the selection criteria will be the winner of the prize. The prize is a digital camera. The prize includes delivery to the winner’s UK mainland home address. It is the responsibility of the winner to follow instructions provided by the prize provider to take up the prize. The prize is subject to restrictions including but not limited to delivery restrictions. The prize is subject availability and to the terms and conditions of the prize provider and/or manufacturer. There is no alternative prize or cash equivalent.
 
The Promoter is not liable for any costs, liabilities, damages or losses incurred by the winner. The Promoter reserves the right to vary any element of the prize due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control. The Promoter will not be liable to reimburse the cost of entry to this competition or any other expenses incurred. For the avoidance of doubt, the prize excludes associated costs, expenses, charges or taxes incurred by a winner which are not included in the prize including but not limited to storage fees, accessories, supplementary products and services. The prize is non-changeable and non-transferable.The Promoter endeavours to deliver the prize within 28 days of winner confirmation. The winner must be a UK resident aged 18 years or over and may be required to confirm proof of age and eligibility. The winner’s details may be announced during the programme. The winner may be required to participate in publicity for the Promoter and/or prize provider. The Promoter will only pass an entrant’s data to third parties for marketing purposes if that entrant has asked to receive marketing information from those third parties.
 
The winner will be notified on the competition draw date. He/she will be contacted on the daytime phone number they provided when entering the competition. The Promoter will not amend contact information provided once entry to the competition has been made. The Promoter will use all reasonable endeavours to contact the winner on the competition draw date. The Promoter will contact with the winner on the daytime phone number they provided, calling three times in a two-hour daytime period. If successful contact is not made, or if they fail to provide an address for delivery, or fail to meet the eligibility requirements as set out in the general competition terms and conditions, and elsewhere as applicable, or are otherwise unable to comply with these terms and conditions and take up the prize as specified, this may result in forfeiture of the prize and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the entry which next best meets the selection criteria and thereafter until a winner is found.
