THIS MORNING: INTERACTIVE POLL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
GENERAL GUIDELINES
Viewers can take part in an interactive poll by following the instructions as outlined in the programme, This Morning (the “programme”)and/or on the www.itv.com/thismorning website (the “website”). Viewers may take part in the interactive poll by any of the methods as stated in the programme and/or on the website.
METHOD AND COST OF PARTICIPATION
Phone: Where stated, viewers may dial the number as stated in the programme and/or on the website from a touch tone phone and follow the instructions to take part in the poll during the times when the lines for the interactive are open as stated.
Where dialling the number as stated in the programme and/or on the website, each call costs 10p from a BT landline unless otherwise stated. Calls from other networks may be higher and from mobiles will be considerably more. Please ask permission from the bill payer before dialling. Please dial carefully and sensibly and listen to the instructions. There will be no refunds for the cost of any misdialled calls.
Online: Viewers may take part in the interactive poll via the website where stated in the programme and/or on the website. There is no charge to participate in the interactive poll via the website, but internet service provider’s fees may apply when accessing the internet.
Other method:Where stated in the programme and/or on the website, viewers may take part in the interactive poll via any other method. Any applicable charges are as stated in the programme and/or on the website.
RESTRICTIONS
To be eligible to take part in the interactive poll you must be a UK resident aged 18 or over. You may take part in the interactive poll as many times as you like during the times when the poll lines are open as stated in the programme and/or on the website. Poll lines are opened and closed as specified on the programme and/or on the website. After the time for participating in the poll has passed, you will not be able to take part in the poll. Poll line times are liable to change and ITV may suspend, withdraw or re-set the poll line at its sole discretion at any time. The poll is only available to viewers in the United Kingdom unless otherwise stated.
RESULT OF THE POLL
The result of the poll will be from all polls received by the producer of the programme at the time when the poll is calculated, after the lines have closed. Please note that polls made or received after the time when poll lines are open and/or after the poll result is calculated will not be considered but may still be charged where applicable.
GENERAL TERMS
ITV cannot promise that the poll lines will be free from errors or omissions nor that the lines will be available uninterrupted and in a fully operating condition. The system and/or service may be suspended temporarily and without notice in the case of system failure, maintenance or repair or for reasons beyond the reasonable control of ITV, their agents and/or sub-contractors. ITV, their agents and/or sub-contractors will not be liable to you or to any other person in the event that all or any part of the system and/or service is discontinued, modified or changed in any way.
ITV, the producers of the programme and their sub-contractors do not accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or any other problem with any telephone network or line, system, software, server, provider or otherwise which may result in any polls not being properly registered or recorded.
Nothing in these terms and conditions restricts your statutory rights as a consumer. For more details on your statutory rights you should contact your local Trading Standards Office or Citizen's Advice Bureau.
Any materials submitted by viewers when taking part in the interactive poll will be considered “Submissions” (as defined under the Terms of Use at www.itv.com/terms). Such Submissions are subject to such Terms of Use.
