This Morning’s “Cook A Dish For Corrie” Competition
 
Application terms and conditions
 
1.         APPLICATION PROCESS
You may enter this competition in the upcoming programme “This Morning” (the ‘programme’) by completing an online form as specified in these guidelines until midday, 4 January 2011. 
 
2.         ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
In addition to the eligibility criteria in the General Competition, Vote and Poll Terms and Conditions, you must be able to travel to London to take part in the final cook-off on 24 January 2011. Return standard rail tickets will be provided for travel from the station nearest to the winner’s UK home address to the station nearest to the This Morning studio in London.
 
3.         METHOD OF ENTRY
You may enter the competition until midday, Tuesday 4 January 2011 by completing an online form and uploading of the dish you wish to submit at http://www.itv.com/thismorning (the “website”).  
 
Photographs should be in .jpg format and no larger than 1 MB.
 
Entry is limited to no more than five entries per person.
 
4.         SHORTLIST
All submissions will be assessed by a panel consisting of Coronation Street and This Morning production teamsA shortlist of 10 candidates will be decided after 5 January 2011 and the successful shortlisted candidates will be contacted shortly after that date. 
 
5.         VOTING
Where stated in the programme, viewers will be invited to vote online for their favourite dish out of the shortlist of 10 dishes, which will be displayed on the website. The three (3) entrants with the highest votes will be selected to be the three (3) finalists to take part in a final cook-off. In the event of a tie the panel will make the final decision. 
 
The voting times will open and close as stated in the programme.  
 
The successful three (3) finalists will be contacted on 14 January 2011 and will be announced on the This Morning programme and online on the This Morning and Coronation Street websites on 17 January 2011.
 
Additional voting rules: votes made or received outside of the voting times as stated or above the maximum number of votes as specified will not be counted. The rules for voting and voting times are liable to change, and the Promoter and/or producer of the programme may suspend, withdraw or re-set voting at their sole discretion at any time due to reasons beyond their control. The Promoter, their sub-contractors, subsidiaries and/or agencies are committed to operating viewer voting fairly, and to preventing abuse of its systems. The Promoter reserves the right to discount votes if it has reasonable grounds to suspect, having regard to all circumstances and information available at the relevant time, that (a) fraudulent voting has occurred, such that is designed to excessively manipulate the outcome of the vote; or (b) votes have been made in breach of these terms and conditions.
 
Voting is intended for individuals as consumers. The Promoter and the producers of the programme reserve the right to discount votes if they have reasonable grounds to suspect those votes have not been made by consumers (for example by agencies, businesses and/or companies).
 
The Promoter will not have a say in the outcome of the vote. In the event of a tie or in the event that the outcome of the vote cannot be reasonably determined because of a technical failure or other circumstance beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and/or the producer of the programme then the decision of the panel will determine the outcome or any other decision which the vote would have determined.  The Promoter, the producer of the programme, their sub-contractors, subsidiaries and/or agencies do not accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or any other problem with any network or line, system, server, provider, software or otherwise which may result in any vote being lost or not properly received, registered or recorded. The Promoter cannot promise that the website will be free from errors or omissions nor that it will be available uninterrupted and in a fully operating condition. The system and/or service may be suspended temporarily and without notice in the case of system failure, maintenance or repair or for reasons beyond the reasonable control of The Promoter. The Promoter will not be liable to you or to any other person in the event that all or any part of the system and/or service is discontinued, modified or changed in any way.
 
6.         WINNER SELECTION
A winner will be selected from the three (3) finalists after the cook-off by Phil Vickery, Sharon Marshall and cast members of Coronation Street on 24 January 2011. In the event that Phil Vickery or Sharon Marshall is not available, a suitable alternative will be appointed by the programme producers.
 
7.         PRIZE
The winner will have their winning dish appear on the menu at The Rovers Return in at least one episode of Coronation Street.
