Method of entry:
Eligible entrants may enter the competition by web only by going to the website at http://xfactor.itv.com/2009/kleenex/win-stuff.htmanswering the competition entry question as indicated, then following the instructions given to enter the competition.
Eligibility for entry:
Entrants must be a UK resident aged 18 years or over at the time of entering the competition, and may be required to confirm proof of age and eligibility.
Eligible entrants may enter this competition no more than 5 times per email address. Entries on behalf of another person are void. Entries made, or received by the Promoter, after the closing date and time will not be entered into the competition. Entries over the maximum number of entries or which are incomplete, incomprehensible, or not received are void and will not be entered into the competition. Entrants who have correctly answered the question will then be entered into a prize draw to win the prize. There is no entry via phone, email, post or via red button for this competition.
Prize:
The first correct entry drawn at random from all eligible entries will be the winner of the prize. The prize is a TopShop giftcard up to the value of £50 (the ‘giftcard’) and a selection of various Kleenex tissues. The giftcard will be valid for use in the following stores: Burton, Dorothy Perkins, Evans, Miss Selfridge, Outfit, TopShop, TopMan and Wallis. The giftcard may be presented as full or part payment of merchandise in-store. The cost of any one purchase (if less than £50) will be deducted from the balance on the card. The giftcard will expire 24 months from the date of purchase. The giftcard cannot be used online. In addition, the prize includes two (2) tickets for the winner and a companion to go to one of the X-Factor Live Tour shows taking place at selected venues in the UK on dates between 16-28 February and 1-20 March 2010. The winner’s choice of venue and date is as to be agreed between the prize provider and/or Promoter and the winner. The prize provider and/or Promoter endeavours to deliver the prize within 28 days of winner confirmation.
It is the responsibility of the winner to ensure that they and their companion make their own way to the event and are available on the relevant date and arrive at the venue at the time specified. The prize provider and/or Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry to the venue if the winner and/or their companion are late. The winner must follow instructions given by the Promoter and/or prize provider to take up the prize and the winner will be required to show identification on collection of the prize.
The prize is subject to restrictions and to the terms of theprize provider as applicable. The prize provider and/or Promoter reserves the right to vary any element of the prize. The winner must be a UK resident and aged 18 or over at the time of entering the competition and the winner’s companion must be aged 18 or over. Both the winner and their companion will be required to confirm proof of age and eligibility. The winner must give advance notice if they or their companion have any particular requirements for access or seating, e.g. disabled access that requires pre-arrangements for seating and/or audience access. There is no cash equivalent or alternative prize. The prize is non-changeable and non-transferable. For the avoidance of doubt, the prize excludes all other costs and arrangements including but not limited to any accommodation, transportation to and from the event venue, any other travel expenses, parking costs, souvenirs, incidental costs, taxes and any insurance. The Promoter is not liable for any costs, liabilities, damages, losses, or for any medical conditions aggravated or incurred by the winner and/or their companion. The Promoter endeavours to deliver the prize within 28 days of winner confirmation unless otherwise stated. Not all elements of the prize may be delivered together. The winner may be required to participate in publicity for the Promoter and/or prize provider. The Promoter will only pass an entrant’s data to third parties for marketing purposes if that entrant has asked to receive marketing information from those third parties.
The winner will be contacted as soon as practicable on or after the competition draw date on the phone number they provided when entering the competition. The Promoter will not amend contact information provided once entry to the competition has been made. Reasonable efforts will be made to contact a winner. If they cannot be contacted or fail to provide an address for delivery or fail to meet the eligibility requirements as set out in the general competition terms and conditions, and elsewhere as applicable, or are otherwise unable to comply with these terms this may result in forfeiture of the prize and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next correct entry drawn at random from all eligible entries.
