Method of entry:
Eligible entrants may enter the competition by web only by going to the website at http://xfactor.itv.com/2009/beauty/this-week answering the competition entry question as indicated, then following the instructions given to enter the competition.
Eligibility for entry:
Entrants must be a UK resident aged 16 years or over at the time of entering the competition, and may be required to confirm proof of age and eligibility. If the entrant is aged 16 or 17 they must have prior parental permission to enter the competition. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
Eligible entrants may enter this competition no more than 5 times per person. Entries on behalf of another person are void. Entries made, or received by the Promoter, after the closing date and time will not be entered into the competition. Entries over the maximum number of entries or which are incomplete, incomprehensible, or not received are void and will not be entered into the competition.
Entrants who have correctly answered the question will then be entered into a prize draw to win the prize. There is no entry via phone, email, post or via red button for this competition.
Prize:
The first ten correct eligible entries drawn at random from all eligible entries will each be the winner of the prize.
The prize is a L’Oréal Paris goodie bag containing one of each of the following full size items:

- Color Appeal Star Secrets Trios Eyeshadow (333 Toffee Crystal)

The prize is subject to the terms and conditions of the prize provider and/or manufacturer.
The prize contents may vary from that shown. The prize is non-changeable and non-transferable. No cash equivalent or alternative prize is available. The Promoter and/or Prize provider reserves the right to vary any element of the prize. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any costs, liabilities, damages or losses incurred by a winner as a result of taking up the prize. For the avoidance of doubt the prize excludes all associated costs and expenses which may be incurred in taking up the prize including but not limited to storage and any other costs, charges or expenses not included in the prize.
The prize provider endeavours to deliver the prize to the 10 winners within 28 days of winner confirmation.
The Promoter will only pass an entrant’s data to third parties for marketing purposes if that entrant has asked to receive marketing information from those third parties.
The 10 winners will be notified within 1 week of the competition draw date on the phone number they provided when entering the competition. The Promoter will not amend contact information provided once entry to the competition has been made. Reasonable efforts will be made to contact a winner. Failure to respond and/or provide an address for delivery of the prize, or failure to meet the eligibility requirements, may result in forfeiture of the prize. If the winner cannot be contacted or are unable to comply with these terms and conditions or the general competition terms and conditions, this may result in forfeiture of the prize and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next correct eligible entrant drawn at random and thereafter until a winner is found. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The winners must be prepared to take part in publicity accompanying or resulting from the promotion. No additional compensation will be awarded for such promotional activities. By entering this competition, entrants will be deemed to be bound by and have accepted these terms and conditions.
