A big thank you to all our Santa’s Little Helpers

Thank you

We want to take this opportunity to say a big THANK YOU to every ‘Santa’s Little Helper’ who made our 2013 appeal a success.

We wouldn’t be able to raise awareness and donations for our chosen charities without your help.

Later in the year, we’ll be back to share with you some exciting events and festive fundraising ideas for Text Santa 2014.

In the meantime, if you’ve got an idea you want to share or an event planned you want to tell us about, you can email us at Santaslittlehelpers@itv.com

If you’re a charity and interested in becoming a beneficiary of Text Santa’s 2014 appeal, follow us on Twitter (@ITVTextSanta) for news on when our application process begins.

Have you got Hattitude? Now's the time to show us!

We want you to tweet your pictures of you wearing your official Text Santa hats in different places and doing different things.

Here's what...

  • Sunday - roast dinner. Having a Sunday roast? Get your Text Santa hat on and share the love!
  • Monday - office/work. Eugh, back to work! Lighten the load and tweet us a pic of you doing your job whilst wearing your Text Santa hat.
  • Tuesday - teddy bear. We've all got a favourite teddy, don't we!? Well, pop your hat on your teddy and tweet your masterpiece. Even stuffed animals want to feel part of the fun!
  • Wednesday - landmarks and places. We've all seen those pics of people pretending to hold up the Leaning Tower of Pisa. But how much better would it look with a Text Santa hat on it? Get creative and send us your pics of your hat in unusual or famous places.
  • Thursday - party. It is party season after all. The ultimate party accessory, get your Text Santa hat on and get festive. Oh, and the mistletoe hat could really come in handy.

Tweet your pictures using #TextSanta and we'll retweet some of the funniest, most festive and truly creative.

Pick up your official Text Santa hats in store at Morrisons. All profits go to Text Santa. See here for more details.

Show you've got hattitude...

We're encouraging everyone to put their hats on display for Hattitude Day!

On the 20th of December, we’ll be asking the nation to show their visible support for Text Santa by wearing a hat to work, college or school in return for a small donation to Text Santa.

For the privilege of wearing your hat, simply pledge your donation here.

Plus, tweet us @ITVTextSanta using #hattitudeto tell us how you plan to get involved.

Hats on display for ‘Hattitude Day’

Christmas might seem a long way off, but with 6 weeks and counting, Santa's little helpers are already busily preparing for our annual festive charity appeal.

Today we're celebrating the launch of our very own charity appeal website where we'll be encouraging everyone to put their hats on display for ‘Hattitude Day’ and help raise awareness and donations for our six chosen UK charities.

Fundraising in 2013

Fundraising in 2013

From November onwards we'll be looking for 'Santa's little Helpers' to join us in raising awareness and donations for our 6 chosen charities.

This year its all about having 'Hattitude' and in November we'll be launching our very own fundraising webpage, packed with festive ideas and resources that you can use - all with a 'hat' theme!

In the meantime, if you want to get started with your own fundraising ideas, why not set up your very own Text Santa Just Giving page. We might be a Christmas charity appeal, but the earlier we start fundraising the more we raise for our 6 chosen charities.
