Phil continues his travels across the world to try some foreign cuisines and this time makes a simple but tasty beef carpaccio.

Oryx or Beef Carpaccio

Ingredients:

150g meat of your choice - preferably beef
2 tbsp chopped onion
1 tbsp parsley, roughly chopped
2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
20g hard cheese, such as Parmesan

Method:

1. Slice the meat  very thinly and arrange it on the plate.

2. Sprinkle over the finely chopped onion  and roughly chopped parsley then pour on the balsamic vinegar  and extra virgin oil.

3. Grate the Parmesan and sprinkle on top.

4. Finally top with a little bit of black pepper.
