Prep perfect preserves (in time for Christmas)

With Christmas three months away, now is the time to start prepping and pickling if you want a scrumptious selection of chutneys, relishes and sauces to accompany all of that lovely festive grub.

As well as providing that extra kick to a bit of roast turkey, packaged in the right way, a jar of chutney can make a wonderful Christmas gift. Thane Prince, queen of preserves and judge of the Big Allotment Challenge is here to show us how to make her favourite preserves as well as gives us some presentation tips so our jars and bottles will meet her impeccable standards.

Sea bass with cannellini mash and basil sauce

Forget your faithful chip shop cod or homemade haddock, there is a superstar of the sea that's set to be a sure-fire hit on your dinner table tonight - sea bass.

And, with the government recommending we should be eating fish at least twice a week, there really is no need to restrict your fish to Fridays.

Gino's here with pan-fried sea bass, cannellini mash and basil sauce served with roasted tomatoes and balsamic vinegar, which promises to be tasty enough to tempt us any day of the week.

Chicken, broccoli and mushroom pot pie

We all have a limited amount of recipes we always fall back on, but now Phil Vickery's here with some inspiration for a quick and easy dish to add to your repertoire.

Phil's cooking us his version of an autumnal chicken, broccoli and mushroom pot pie and Olly Smith is joining in with his wine suggestion for this tasty treat. Plus, Olly will also have some delicious alternative drinks and he's bought us his best buys for the perfect tipple this weekend, no matter what the occasion!

Seared tuna steaks

First hitting our screens in 2011 with her easy, wholesome cakes, Lorraine Pascale has gone on to become one of TV's hottest new chefs with three successful television shows and five bestselling cookery books.

Lorraine is now back on our screens and in our bookshops teaching the nation How To Be a Better Cook, and she's in the TM kitchen to whip up a tasty mid-week treat of seared tuna steaks with cannellini beans, feta and mint.
