Bradley Lowery's parents: Our boy's legacy will live forever
Although he was only here for a short time he’s done so much for a little boy of six years. It’s incredible and I’m so proud of him.
– Gemma Lowery talks about Bradley's legacy
He was the little boy who made a big impact: at 19 months old Bradley Lowery was diagnosed with a rare form of childhood cancer. Doctors gave him a 50% chance of survival but he beat the odds and in December 2014, was given the all clear. However, 18 months later Bradley relapsed, and sadly died in July this year.
Bradley's fighting spirit captured the hearts of the nation, and particularly of his hero - Bournemouth player Jermain Defoe who struck up a close bond with Bradley before he died.
Today Bradley's mum and dad Gemma and Carl Lowery and Jermaine Defoe join us exclusively to share Bradley's story and reveal why his legacy will inspire sick children and their families forever.
