Sharon Spink, 44, is used to turning heads when she breastfeeds her child in public. But it's not the act of flashing some flesh that raises eyebrows, but the age of her five-year-old daughter.
The mum-of-four is a supporter of extended breastfeeding, where a mother lets her child feed from the breast until he or she decides to stop. Unlike other mothers in the UK who, on average, breastfeed their children up until the common weaning age of six months, Sharon says she will allow her daughter to breastfeed as long as she desires, which could be up to the age of ten.
Sharon joins us to discuss the often controversial topic of breastfeeding with us.
