Prime Minister David Cameron joined us in The Hub to answer your questions and he told Eamonn and Ruth: "The recession is over... but change takes time."

The Prime Minister also revealed that he is a big fan of gardening guru Alan Titchmarsh and talking about our topic of the day - cheating - he exclaimed, "I haven't got time!"

And whilst he conceded that decisions the Government are making are unpopular he insisted they would be for the good of the country in the long term.

In an open and frank interview David Cameron admitted that changes had been made to policies for the benefit of the country.

"I don't think it's a weakness to listen to people, " David said speaking about the NHS. "We are making big improvements to the plans, that's not weak, it's sensible!"

He also pleaded with people to be patient with the Government while they put their plans into action. He said: "The biggest thing I want to do as PM is to change the values of this country so that we reward the people that do the right thing and punish those that do the wrong things.

"But change takes time. I would argue that in the last year we have made some big steps forward - we have progressed towards covering the deficit."

Talking about the recession David told Eamonn and Ruth: "The recession is over. The economy is now growing, there are 400,000 more people in jobs than there were a year ago. Confidence is building."

He added: "We inherited a system that was badly broken... change takes time."

And he insisted:"I'd rather take the unpopular decisions now and see the economy grow and help the country in the long term."
