We speak to a woman who has admitted to regularly abusing her husband for over seven years.
It's a crime which is often associated with a female victim, but according to a recent study, 40% of domestic abuse was carried out on a male victim, with 600,000 men reporting violent behaviour in the home. We've even seen Coronation Street covering the issue this year, with Street favourite Tyrone Dobbs continually being beaten by fiancée Kirsty Soames.
Emma Bushen admits to regularly abusing her husband James for over seven years, to the point where she was forced to leave the family home. Emma, who blames alcohol for her violent behaviour, has been sober for just under a year and believes more should be done to help women who lash out. She joins us now alongside Liz Ostrowski from the Domestic Violence Intervention Project.
