Is it wrong to buy your child's education?

A by-election candidate made headlines last week when she suggested her son would have to be educated at a privately funded school in order to train as a surgeon.

With the number of pupils attending private schools increasing, and evidence suggesting better A Level grades at a privately educated school, we're asking, is it wrong to buy your child's education?

Joining us is columnist Zoe Williams who says she is against private schools, and thinks they give a sense of entitlement to those who can afford it. We also have writer Janet Murray who chose to send her child to a private school, and says she doesn't regret her decision.
