It's the opening ceremony of the 2012 London Paralympics tonight and as the world gets ready to be amazed and inspired by the athletes taking part, we're asking what drives them to succeed against adversity.

Former Paralympic athletes Simon Richardson, 45, and Rachael Latham, 23, along with London Marathon competitor Claire Lomas, 32, join us for a look ahead.

Plus they talk about lighting the Paralympic cauldrons, how the athletes will be feeling ahead of the games and the highs and lows they've faced themselves over the last few years.
