Today we're launching This Morning's beauty contest for ladies over a certain age - Miss Senior Citizen 2012!
Every Friday for the next five weeks, glamorous pensioners from across the UK will compete for the title... and today it's the turn of the ladies from the North East.
Our four cracking contestants will take part in an eveningwear round, where they will display their elegance and grace, a talent round where the contestants will entertain us and a swimwear round. Our panel of judges, head judge Sherrie Hewson, Dancing on Ice professional skater Matt Evers and King of sparkle Johnny Robinson will vote for their winner - sending them through to the final which takes place on the 24th August.
