Jackie Meacock, 71, endured years of pain with the incurable nerve condition dystonia.
After careful consideration, Jackie decided that her only option was to travel to the controversial Swiss clinic Dignitas and end her life.
After enjoying one final meal with her four children she went to sleep for the last time and her suffering was finally over. Today we are joined by Jackie's daughters Nina and Donella to tell us why they honoured their mother's final wish, to let her die with the dignity she so desperately craved.
