I've been lucky enough to present everyone’s favourite daytime TV show This Morning since 2002. I'm having great fun working with my co-presenter Holly Willoughby and we’ve got loads of amazing stuff planned for the year ahead.
I also host Dancing on Ice with Holly and Mr & Mrs with the lovely Fern Britton - so yes, I’m a very lucky man!
Born and brought up in Newquay, I’m a Cornish boy at heart. I moved to the big smoke when I was 17 and I’ve been on air since 1981, along the way presenting pop show Shazam in New Zealand, Children’s BBC from the Broom Cupboard, and Going Live with my infamous friend Gordon the Gopher!
The Movie Game, Schofield’s Europe and Television’s Greatest Hits followed, and then I surprised everyone and myself by donning a multicoloured dream coat and starring in Joseph for four years. I hung up the coat and pulled on a pair of wellies to talk to the animals in the West End production of Doctor Dolittle, before returning to TV to concentrate on This Morning and Dancing on Ice… and the rest, as they say, is history.
I’m happily married to my wonderful wife Stephanie with two beautiful daughters Ruby and Molly, and we live in Oxfordshire.
