I co-host This Morning every Friday with my real-life husband Eamonn Holmes and we keep the sofa warm whenever Phil and Holly are on holiday.
I mostly love working with my husband, but that doesn't mean we don't bicker on air sometimes!
I was born in Singapore, and with my army family I lived in five countries before the age of ten, ranging from Germany to North Africa. My career started over 25 years ago at ITV in the Westcountry where I fronted the evening news programme and presented my own chat show. I moved into national television and have fronted shows for BBC1, BBC2, ITV and several digital channels.
I've been a host on Loose Women and often guest star on panel and comedy shows, including Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway and Keith Barry’s Magic Show. I love cooking, and enjoyed appearing on Ready Steady Cook, Carlton Television’s Food Network Daily, and Westcountry TV's Taste of the West.
My other passion is gardening, and I've presented The Great British Garden Show on BBC2, ITV’s gardening quiz show The Answer Lies in the Soil and Gardens of the Millennium for The History Channel.
I live in Surrey with Eamonn and our son Jack.
