Saturday saw the sad news that soap stalwart Betty Driver had passed away after a long illness, aged 91.
As Corrie's Betty Turpin, Betty had been a key part of Coronation Street since joining the show in 1969 and appearing in some 2,800 episodes up to her last on screen appearance in May.
