I've got the lowdown and all the gossip from the shows so far, plus find out what I'm wearing today.
Today I’m wearing a suede jacket by Rick Owens, an Acne Zorah sweater and a pencil skirt by Rick Owens. The socks are Tabio in gold and the boots are Acne track boots in khaki. My feather necklace is by Elliot Atkinson and it’s a one-off which I got backstage at last year’s Fashion Week. I ran to Elliot and said "I love that necklace… where can I buy one?" and he gave it to me!
My favourite show so far, for various reasons was Jonathan Saunders and it was the best collection he’s ever done. I loved the styling, I personally could wear anything from the range and the colours were delicious. It was so ladylike, but still there was something folksy and wearable about it.
Giles Deacon was fantastic and the final dress was a jaw-dropper and it was the way a finale dress should come out.
Topshop Unique was hip and young and urban. A mixture of hip-hop and Egyptian and Cleopatra styles. It was styled by my favourite stylist Katie Grand, who does various things including the Prada campaigns and she is the greatest British stylist… according to me! Google her… she’s cool!
Today I’m looking forward to seeing Meadham Kirchoff who are a designing duo who have been going for a few years but are still very much under the radar, but are very cool. They take clothes and make them look like… not rags exactly, but they’re very relaxed and so expensive yet fascinating. They always put on the most interesting shows and last year it was all about Pagans and witches and women dressed in black and white and marching and looking like they were going to be burnt at the stake… so could be interesting!
