Well hellooooooooo!
What a great day at This Morning Towers! I think today's show really captured what we do brilliantly. From debating the news to rocking out with the cast of Rock of Ages!
First up, we really enjoyed your comments about whether parents should let their sons/daughters sleep over in their teens. The reaction was mixed but mainly people imploring common sense! Very true! Also we created a bit of a social media stir when we announced the nation's top three favourite biscuits. I for one was absolutely distraught when I heard that the Chocolate Hob Nob wasn't up there!!!! Now, if there was ever a reason for me to go on strike... ;)
Never mind, I had Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer's beef and onion pie to soften the biccie blow. I only wish that we could share my taste sensation together guys! I'm not gunna lie to you web friends, it was sensational.
On a serious note. I found Bruce Jones' interview extremely touching. As someone who has had a close affiliation with depression in my family i was both humbled and inspired by Bruce's openness and determination to get through what seems to be a dark period of his life. If you have any questions or queries about mental health issues and would like some information on how to beat this increasingly common disease please see our depression helplines. We wish Bruce all the best in the future.
And finally! My favourite show in London's West end were on my favourite telly show today! Yup, Rock of Ages the musical rocked the socks off the This Morning studio floor earlier proving that my beloved Rock 'n' Roll is far from dead! They passed my Rock Checklist too...
1. Spandex (Tick)
2. Falsetto singing (tick)
3. Girls wearing next to nothing (Check, Check, Check)
4. Massive hair! (Massive Check)
I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. If so, make sure you get the Shaftesbury Theatre ASAP!
Plus you can watch it here again! (We are to good to you) ;)
Have a great weekend! Lots of love.
Matt
