Cadel Evans is confident, despite an uncomfortable mountain stage, that if his BMC team keeps up their huge effort they will be in a great position come the conclusion of the Tour.
"It's still early in the mountains - we're still a long way from Paris," he cautioned, "but if the team keep going as they have been every day thus far we'll get ourselves in a great positions in Paris."
