Cadel Evans refused to play up his chances of Tour glory with the race set to be decided in a time-trial on the penultimate Stage 20.

"I've been in this position twice before and I've failed twice before so my odds aren't that great," the BMC Racing rider said.

The Australian trails GC leader Andy Schleck by 57 seconds, though is regarded as a superior time-triallist - but Evans admitted: "I'm still a long way away from yellow."
