Mark Cavendish tells Gary Imlach there will be no problem riding alongside Bradley Wiggins at Team Sky, and that he's aiming to peak throughout July for the Tour de France and the Olympics.

Asked what it will be like riding the 2012 Tour in the world champion's jersey, the Manxman says it will be 'really tremendous' and looks forward to a route that has a 'good balance'.

"It's not going to be an easy three weeks. I'll aim to peak for July and carry it through the whole four weeks," Cavendish says, with the Olympic road race coming the week after the Tour finishes.

There has been widespread speculation that Cavendish, who will be riding for sprint wins, and Bradley Wiggins, who will ride for the general classification, will be an uneasy pairing at Team Sky but Cavendish insists it will not be a problem.

"Me and Brad speak every day - if there was a problem between us I think at least one of us wouldn't be at Sky next year," Cavendish says.

"What's the problem? Like you said teams have done it before, it's not going to be a problem is it?"
