There is plenty happening across our Tour de France site in the next month, so to help you get the best from it, ITV.com/tour editor Luke McLaughlin explains how ITV.com's coverage will work
First things first: ITV.com/tour will publish Tour de France results as soon as they happen - on our site and on Twitter.
If you'd like to watch the highlights of any stage without knowing the result, go straight to ITV Player. Don't be surprised to see the result of that day's stage shouting at you from the ITV.com/tour homepage each evening!
The highlights show will air on ITV4 at 7pm every evening. Our live coverage is extended this year, with Stages 1 and 19 completely live. See the full live coverage schedule here.
Stages: Previews, live coverage and highlights
Meanwhile, the Stages section on our site is different this year. Preview video, live coverage and highlights for each stage will all be available on the same page, for instance Stage 1 where you can now see Gary Imlach preview the route. This will give way to the live coverage on Saturday, and a highlights clip will be available as soon as possible from Saturday evening.
News: Latest news, features and video blogs
If you're after the latest news and features head for the News page. We'll have news stories but we'll also have plenty of features and video blogs, particularly from our reporters Ned Boulting and Matt Rendell on the ground in France.
We've already got plenty of build-up content in place, including interviews with Team Sky's Bradley Wiggins, Dave Brailsford, Geraint Thomas and Ben Swift. Plus lots of pre-race analysis with Gary Imlach, Ned, Matt and more.
Rider profiles
The Riders section has in-depth profiles on the leading contenders in the race and the British stars like Mark Cavendish and Geraint Thomas plus widely-backed performers like Robert Gesink.
We've spoken to a host of cycling writers, reporters, bloggers and editors for a collection of predictions. There's also an excellent race preview on GC contenders by Matt Rendell, and another piece by Matt on the young riders to watch.
Beginners Guide
If you're new to the race - and even if you aren't - check our Beginnners Guide to the Tour de France. There's a gallery explaining the most important elements in the multi-layered race, plus a gallery that looks back to the dramatic 2010 Tour de France.
We've also got profiles on Tour de France legends: seven-time winner Lance Armstrong, "The Cannibal" Eddie Merckx, Miguel Indurain to name but three, are there and there are more to come.
Twitter updates
Our new Twitter module collates all the English language Twitter feeds in the race, plus our own Twitter feed, to help keep you up-to-date with any news from the teams & riders.
During each live stage, we'll be following the race live and give you with minute-by-minute updates of the latest action on the road.
If you have a question for commentary team Phil Liggett and Paul Sherwen email tour@itv.com and we'll answer as many questions as we can during the show. You can also contact us on Twitter @itvcyling
Podcast
As ever, the team in France will bring you a daily Tour de France podcast. Ned Boulting, Chris Boardman, Matt Rendell and others will discuss the burning issues after every stage and you can download the podcast here.
Travellers Guide
The Travellers Guide to the Tour de France gives you essential information if you're planning a trip to the race. We've focused on the Vendee, Brittany, Midi-Pyrenees and Rhone-Alps regions. So if you need to know how to get there, where to ride, what to eat and where to stay then the Travellers Guide is the place to go.
That's it for now. I'll post any updates on this page, and on Twitter. I hope you're looking forward to the race as much as I am - and I hope you enjoy our coverage.
