“Tour de France or Tour of Norway? There are only two Norwegians in the race this year but they have made their presence felt. Yesterday Hushovd won his second stage of the race and he also wore yellow for most of the first week.
Today Edvald Boasson Hagen claimed his second victory taking Norway’s total of wins in the race to four. Edvald’s win was so impressive today. He was clearly on a mission to correct his loss to Hushovd. He slipped into the successful breakaway yet again. He attacked his followed the attacks well on the final climb and the put in his own which nobody could follow. The dangerous descent of the Cote de Pramartino was all that stood in his way and he negotiated it successfully, all this the day after finishing second. For somebody so young this was mightily impressive.
