HTC-Highroad sprinter Mark Cavendish made up for the disappointment of being beaten on Stage 10 by storming to victory - and the green jersey - on Stage 11, ahead of rival Andre Greipel.

Speaking to ITV's Ned Boulting after his third stage win of the 2011 Tour, a delighted Cavendish said: "People asked me after last night if I could win today. I said: 'Don't worry, I will win today.'"

Cav also earned enough points on the day to take the green jersey from the back of Belgian all-rounder Philippe Gilbert.
