Mark Cavendish reveals to ITV's Ned Boulting that a couple of caffeine gels helped him get over the Col de Manse and into Gap, where he secured 43rd place - unusually high for a stage featuring such a tough climb.
Ned also spoke briefly to Stage 16 winner Thor Hushovd, who doubled his tally this year with a well-timed break for the line.
