Frank Schleck admits Stage 18 attack was planned

Leopard Trek rider Frank Schleck has revealed that brother Andy's solo attack on Stage 18 was a planned move.

"He [Andy] spoke about it two days ago," Schleck revealed. "He said, 'we have to take risks and I'm going to go early so the leaders are isolated.'"

And the elder Schleck sibling said that this was a proud day for his team.

"Everything went good, I'm very, very proud," he said. "I'm proud of the team, this is a big thanks for all the guys working on it."
