Leopard Trek's Frank Schleck said that he was disappointed with some of his rivals for the yellow jersey after they rode defensively on Stage 14.
Along with his brother Andy and Ivan Basso, Schleck was one of the few riders who looked to attack on the climbs into Plateau de Beille, and he admitted after the stage: "The only one who was interested ws Ivan Basso. All the others just looked at each other. Only Ivan, my brother and myself were looking to race."
Meanwhile brother Andy was more circumspect after shaving two seconds off Thomas Voeckler's lead in the standings, telling ITV's Matt Rendell that he was "happy for every second I can gain on the rest".
