Welshman Geraint Thomas has revealed he is attracting strong interest from Team Sky's rivals with his contract due to expire at the end of the season.
The 25-year-old has made another big impression in 2011, wearing the young riders' white jersey for the second year in a row and competing for stage wins in only his third Tour de France.
And Thomas has said his impressive form has attracted the attention of Sky's rivals in the peloton.
"There's definitely been a few teams interested," Thomas said. "It's great for your confidence when there's a few teams that really want you to join them. To have that respect amongst the teams is great and gives you a little buzz when you go out there racing."
And the Cardiff-born rider added that a move away from Sky would not jeopardise his chances of competing in the London 2012 Olympics.
"A couple of the teams I've spoken to said they'd be happy to let me ride in the Games," he said. "It means a lot to a lot of people. Just because I'm British it doesn't mean 100 per cent I'd stay. I'm definitely not going to discount them [other offers]. I'd listen to anyone really."
Sky have said they are keen to tie Thomas down to another deal - though any negotiation over a new contract with the Welshman would not be conducted until after the Tour de France finishes.
"I don’t like the fact that all the agents push for deals to be done during the Tour de France," Team Sky principal Dave Brailsford said."
"I prefer to wait until after the Tour."
Following his earlier comments, Thomas tweeted on Monday evening: "For the record... I'm very happy here at Team Sky!!"
