HTC-Highroad sprinter Mark Cavendish says his target for the 2011 Tour de France is five stage wins and the Green Jersey.

"I'd like to win five and get the Green (Jersey)," Cavendish told ITV4 Tour reporter Ned Boulting, "That's how I should win the Green."

"I would never say I don't want to win the Green, it matters. I want to win the Green and my tactics will involve winning as many stages as I can, so I will try to do that."

Cavendish also said the rule change will not change his approach too much, "It does mean that I'll have to go for the intermediate sprints but it's about limiting your losses at every intermediate sprint and winning in the final."
