Team Sky directeur sportif Dave Brailsford insists they only want to get the best from Bradley Wiggins at the Tour de France in 2011.
Wiggins finished fourth in 2009 and believes he is capable of a Tour de France podium - and Brailsford believes Wiggins has a chance of a good finish.
"We've got a nice blend now,' added Brailsford. 'Like any athlete, success is so vital - Bradley is a class act and we've known that for a long time. We go in with our heads high - very respectful of the Tour, very respectful of tradition - but in a good place."
"Our ambition is very clear. The ambition is to make sure that we get the best out of Bradley, that he gets the best out of himself, that the team supports him to the best of their ability and we actually look at it and go "Do you know what, we couldn't have done any better," because whether that's first, tenth, thirtieth you've got to take that because that's the best we could have been - and you've got to take that."
