Talking exclusively to ITV, world champion Mark Cavendish tells us his aims for the summer ahead of the Tour de France and 2012 Olympics in London

Cavendish is proud to be riding on a British team as world champion - and he is looking forward to seeing the British cycling fans poised to descend on France this summer.

The Manxman will ride alongside Bradley Wiggins for Team Sky in this year's Tour, which begins in Liege on Saturday 30th June. The Olympic Road Race is just six days after the Tour de France finishes on Sunday 22nd July.

Every stage of the race will be live on ITV4 and ITV.com/tour from Saturday 30th June.
