Cancellara: Kloeden may be our best hope now
Race leader Fabian Cancellara said that his Radioshack Nissan Trek team may be forced into a tactical rethink after Frank Schleck lost time on Stage 6.
Schleck was the team's number one hope for glory, but he is now 2m43s off the lead after losing time when he was involved in a pile-up 26km short of the stage finish in Metz.
Cancellara said the team would now have to consider whether to throw their weight behind a different rider.
He told ITV Sport's Ned Boulting: "Maybe Andreas Kloeden will be our leader and probably we have to use Frank in a different way to put pressure on other teams or to win stages.
"We will have to sit down and work out how to make the best of this situation."
