RadioShack-Nissan rider Jens Voigt doffed his cap to Team Sky after Stage 18, and also turned his thoughts to life after cycling - including a possible career in commentary.

"It might be my last Tour," the 40-year-old told Matt Rendell. "At the moment I feel like I'd like to do another year, but the question is whether I'll be good enough next year to make it into a Tour team."

"Maybe if this is my last Tour I'll get a contract to be co-commentator somewhere. That would be pretty funny," he added.

Meanwhile Voigt praised Team Sky for their excellent 2012 Tour.

"The guys are just killing it!" Voigt said. "It seems easy, but there's a lot of hard work behind it, and they are harvesting it - they're earning the fruits of their work for the whole year. Chapeau."
