Wiggins: We had a job to do for Cavendish
Bradley Wiggins says Team Sky had a job to do for Mark Cavendish in Paris, and that it's 'job done' after the Manx Missile sealed his fourth straight stage win on the Champs-Elysees.
"I'm still buzzing from the Champs-Elysees, it goes so quick round there, we had a job to do and we did it," Wiggins told Ned Boulting. "What a way for him to finish it off.
"Yeah ... I've got to get used to that now [securing his place in cycling history]. I'm just trying to soak in every moment of today as it goes along, it's very surreal."
