Bradley Wiggins woke up as the leader of the Tour de France on Sunday - he talks exclusively to Ned Boulting.

"We worked hard for this moment ... it is the Tour ... it's the stuff of dreams," Wiggins says.

Asked about the prospects for Sunday's stage, Wiggins added: "As every stage in the Tour - the ones that seem the easiest are the most dangerous.

"Today shouldn't pose any problems but we'll go out there with the same focused head on.

"You never know in the Tour - you're ready for everything - as I think we showed yesterday [on Stage 7] we've got the climbing legs."
