Track record: Five stage wins and two green jerseys are the high point for a team who for many years seemed to save their best for other major races, not the Tour. Slovak Peter Sagan has improved their record, however, with two consecutive triumphs in the green jersey points competition.
Leader: Sagan poses most threat as he goes in search of his third consecutive points category green jersey. Victory at the Slovakian national road race championships in his final pre-Tour warm-up event suggests he is in the form to do it.
Changes since 2013: Stability is key - six of last year's Tour team are taking part again this year.
Target: Italian duo Alessandro De Marchi and Marco Marcato will be deployed in the mountains to help Sagan in his quest for success but the team will fancy its chances of a couple of stage wins along the way as well.
Full nine: Peter Sagan (Slovakia), Maciej Bodnar (Poland), Alessandro De Marchi (Italy), Ted King (USA), Kristijan Koren (Slovenia), Marco Marcato (Italy), Jean-Marc Marino (France), Fabio Sabatini (Italy) and Elia Viviani (Italy).
