Colin Turkington goes into the mid-season break on a high after two victories at Croft took him clear at the top of the drivers' standings.
The Northern Irishman led from pole to the chequered flag in the first two races at Croft, the second his 200th BTCC drive, to put daylight between himself and closest challenger Matt Neal.
He finished sixth in a rain-sodden final race which was won by reigning champion Fabrizio Giovanardi after the cars had started on a reverse grid.
Turkington, 27, went to Croft full of confidence after two victories last time out at Oulton Park and repeated the trick in North Yorkshire as his Team RAC BMW again proved to be the dominant car on the grid.
Team-mate Stephen Jelley picked up two runners-up spots and a third, his first BTCC podium finishes, to underline the team's dominance.
Race One ended a lap short after Tom Chilton ploughed into Harry Vaulkhard's Chevrolet, but it made no difference to the RAC drivers, while Jason Plato finished third.
The veteran Silverline racer also claimed a podium finish in race two after he overtook Rob Collard with a daring move.
The series now takes a seven-week break and will return at Snetterton on August 2.
