Cav wins Stage 7 on cobbles of Guildford

Mark Cavendish took an exciting sprint victory on Guildford High Street and his second win of the 2013 Tour of Britain.

The Omega Pharma Quick-Step rider finished just ahead of Stage 1 winner Elia Vivini with Gerald Ciolek of MTM Qhubeka in third.

Bradley Wiggins finished safely in the group to retain the overall leaders IG Gold Jersey while Angel Morazo of Movistar kept both the Skoda KOM Jersey and the Yodel Direct Sprint Jersey.

Martin Elmiger of IAM cycling retains the Chian Reaction points jersey while the day's Combativity award went to Pete Williams of IG Sigma Sport.
