Cathedral crisis

It dates back to the fifth century, and is the most ancient cathedral in Wales. But as the years have gone on, age has gradually caught up with St Woolos in Newport.The oak roof is six hundred years old and now needs urgent and costly repairs. The congregation are trying to raise money to restore it to its former glory, but the recession has meant that they're a long way off their target, as Hannah Thomas reports.
