This programme is now over.
Stephen Tompkinson, Dawn Steele, Hayley Mills and Deon Stewardson return for a brand new series of Wild at Heart set against the stunning backdrop of South Africa.
The new series will open just a few weeks after Danny, Alice, Caroline and Du Plessis have lost Leopard's Den. The mining company's work has stalled following the corruption scandal Danny and Dup unearthed last series, and the family aren't sure if they’ve lost their home forever.
With the women back home in the UK, Danny and Dup set out to find a new place for everyone to live but can they re-establish their veterinary practice and find happiness elsewhere?
Equally, emotions are still running high as unscrupulous mining boss Peeters played by David Butler continues to create problems for the family and Dup takes a decision which will rock the foundations of his relationship with Danny.
The new series also sees the return of Lucy-Jo Hudson as Danny's eldest daughter Rosie, who is now a fully qualified vet but arrives harbouring a secret which could change the way her family feels about her forever.
Jill Halfpenny (Waterloo Road, EastEnders) will also be joining the cast as Ed Lynch's estranged ex wife. Flirty Fiona Lynch arrives at Leopard's Den, a lost and lonely character and it emerges that she's the reason her husband is as sour, grumpy and emotionally in denial as he is.
Fiona is used to getting her own way and left Ed for a younger model but now she's intent on winning him back...
