Costa Rica star Bryan Oviedo should make World Cup - Martinez
Everton boss Roberto Martinez has revealed that Bryan Oviedo should be fit for Costa Rica at this summer's World Cup.
The 24-year-old was a major injury doubt to feature for England's Group D rivals, after suffering a double leg fracture playing against Stevenage in January, but Martinez insists that the player is progressing ahead of schedule as he recovers in his homeland.
"Bryan is doing really well," Martinez said. "He is back in Costa Rica and working with the national team. He is well ahead of the time we expected for his recovery."
